The Origin of LUV

LUV is a recipe made from unusual ingredients: roots, friendship, and a pinch of madness.
After many years in the U.S., Barbara and Gabriele felt the call of their homeland.
One evening, over dinner with their dear friend Mauro—between laughter and champagne—a seemingly wild idea was born:
“Let’s open a restaurant together.”
Mauro’s passion and enthusiasm made all the difference.
What started as a joke quickly became a real, vibrant project.
And just like that, LUV came to life.

The Name LUV

“LUV” is American slang for LOVE.
It represents love for cuisine, for hospitality, and for our land.
But LUV also stands for LUdovico and Virginia, the children of Barbara and Gabriele. A project rooted in the heart, with eyes set on the future.
